Google Chrome ANGLE Inappropriate Implementation Vulnerability Allowing Remote Code Execution on Mac

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome on Mac, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.216. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandboxed environment by using a specially crafted HTML page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution within a sandbox on the affected system.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.216 or later to address this vulnerability.
