Google Chrome Media Inappropriate Implementation Cross-Origin Data Leak Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in Google Chrome for Windows, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.216, due to inappropriate implementation in the Media component. This flaw allows a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to leak cross-origin data through a crafted HTML page.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.216 or later to address this vulnerability.
