Google Chrome UI Spoofing Vulnerability in Views on iOS

Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Google Chrome on iOS, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.168, allowed remote attackers who had compromised the renderer process to perform UI spoofing. This was achieved through a crafted HTML page, exploiting an inappropriate implementation in the Views component.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to UI spoofing, allowing an attacker to manipulate how content is displayed to the user.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
