Google Chrome ANGLE Cross-Origin Data Leak Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome on Windows, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.168, allowed remote attackers to leak cross-origin data. This issue arose from an inappropriate implementation that enabled a compromised renderer process to access sensitive information via a crafted HTML page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized cross-origin data leakage, allowing attackers to access information that should be restricted.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.168 or later to address this vulnerability.
