A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in MISP versions prior to 2.5.37. This issue arises from improper validation of input in the template element attribute type and category fields, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary values. The vulnerability affects the old templating engine, which will be removed in version 2.5.38.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user.
Users can update to MISP version 2.5.38 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
