Google Chrome Canvas Use-After-Free Vulnerability Allowing Remote Code Execution

A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Canvas component of Google Chrome on Linux and ChromeOS, prior to version 147.0.7727.138. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandboxed environment by using a crafted HTML page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution within a sandbox.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 147.0.7727.138 or later to address this vulnerability.
