ATutor Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Upgrade Endpoint

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in ATutor version 2.2.4, specifically within the '/install/upgrade.php' endpoint. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the victim's browser by sending a specially crafted URL. While only version 2.2.4 has been tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions may also be affected.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.
