CBX 5 Star Rating and Review WordPress Plugin Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the CBX 5 Star Rating & Review plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.0.7. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'page' parameter. These scripts could be executed if an administrator is tricked into clicking a link.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject and execute scripts in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation
