Mozilla Firefox Spoofing Vulnerability in the DOM Component

Vulnerability

A spoofing vulnerability has been identified in the DOM: Core & HTML component of Mozilla Firefox. This issue affects Firefox versions prior to 150, as well as Firefox ESR versions prior to 115.35 and 140.10. The vulnerability was reported by Farras Givari.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to spoofing, allowing an attacker to manipulate or falsify information in a way that could mislead users or systems.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Firefox 150, Firefox ESR 115.35, or Firefox ESR 140.10 to address this vulnerability.
