A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Website LLMs.txt plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 8.2.6. The issue arises from the 'tab' parameter, where user input is not properly sanitized before being output, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts. These scripts could be executed if an administrator is tricked into clicking a link.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to a page that uses the Website LLMs.txt plugin, including the 'tab' parameter with the injected script. If an administrator clicks the link, the script will execute, demonstrating the cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the Website LLMs.txt plugin to version 8.2.7 or later.
