A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Simple Owl Shortcodes plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 2.1.1. The issue arises in the 'owls_wrapper' shortcode, where the 'num' attribute lacks proper input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users access the affected page.
