Google Chrome WebML Out-of-Bounds Memory Write Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the WebML component of Google Chrome prior to version 147.0.7727.55 allows remote attackers to perform an out-of-bounds memory write by exploiting insufficient validation of untrusted input. This issue was reported by ningxin.hu@intel.com on March 20, 2026.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to an out-of-bounds memory write, which can commonly result in memory corruption and potentially allow for arbitrary code execution.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 147.0.7727.55 or later to address this vulnerability.
