Google Chrome PWA Policy Bypass Vulnerability Allowing Unauthorized Installation

Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) within Google Chrome versions prior to 147.0.7727.55 has been identified. This issue stems from inadequate policy enforcement, which allowed remote attackers who had compromised the renderer process to install a PWA without user consent, using a specially crafted HTML page.
