Google Chrome ANGLE Component Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the ANGLE component of Google Chrome on Mac, prior to version 147.0.7727.55, allowed remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandboxed environment. This was achieved through a crafted HTML page that exploited insufficient validation of untrusted input.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution within a sandbox.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 147.0.7727.55 or later to address this vulnerability.
