Stel Order Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Stel Order versions through 3.25.1. This issue resides in the '/app/FrontController' endpoint, where the 'legalName' and 'employeeID' parameters lack proper input sanitization. This oversight allows attackers to inject malicious code that is persistently stored in the database. When accessed by other users or administrators, the injected code executes in their browsers, potentially leading to session cookie theft and account hijacking.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user or administrator accessing the affected section, facilitating session cookie theft and account hijacking.
