Google Chrome V8 Object Corruption Vulnerability Allowing Arbitrary Code Execution

A vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine of Google Chrome, prior to version 146.0.7680.178, allowed remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within a sandboxed environment by exploiting object corruption. This was achieved through a specially crafted HTML page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in a sandboxed environment.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 146.0.7680.178 or later to address this vulnerability.
