Gravity Forms Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Repeater Fields

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress, affecting versions through 2.10.0. The issue arises from inadequate input validation and output escaping of product names in Calculation Product fields when used within Repeater fields. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to inject malicious HTML, which is executed when an authenticated administrator views the entry detail page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the entry details.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the Gravity Forms plugin to version 2.10.1 or a newer patched version.
