Adobe Animate Path Traversal Vulnerability Leading to Arbitrary Code Execution

A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Animate, specifically in the 2023 and 2024 versions prior to the latest updates. This vulnerability allows for arbitrary code execution within the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this issue to access sensitive files or directories outside of the intended restrictions. However, exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.

Remediation
