Vulnerability

A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Windows Network Controller (NC) Host Agent. This vulnerability allows an authorized attacker to cause a local denial-of-service condition.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a local denial-of-service condition, causing affected systems to become unresponsive or unavailable.

Remediation

Users can apply the security update KB5094125 for Windows Server 2025, KB5094128 for Windows Server 2022, and KB5094123 for Windows Server 2019. These security updates are available through the Microsoft Update Catalog.
