Autodesk Fusion Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Autodesk Fusion desktop application. This issue arises when a maliciously crafted HTML payload is embedded in a component name and displayed during the delete confirmation dialog. If clicked by a user, the payload can execute, potentially allowing a malicious actor to read local files or execute arbitrary code within the current process context. This vulnerability affects Autodesk Fusion versions through 2606.0.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user.
Remediation
Users are advised to update to Autodesk Fusion version 2702.1.47 or later. The latest version can be downloaded from the Autodesk Fusion Client Downloader available for Windows and Mac.
