Google Chrome V8 Out of Bounds Read Vulnerability Allowing Memory Access

A vulnerability allowing out of bounds read in the V8 JavaScript engine has been identified in Google Chrome. This issue affects versions prior to Chrome 146.0.7680.71. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to perform out of bounds memory access by exploiting a crafted HTML page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to out of bounds memory access, which can potentially be used to manipulate memory in a way that causes unintended behavior, such as executing arbitrary code or causing a crash.

Remediation

Users can update to Google Chrome version 146.0.7680.71 or later to address this vulnerability.
