The Plus Addons for Elementor Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Plus Addons for Elementor WordPress plugin, specifically in the Progress Bar shortcode. This issue affects all versions up to and including 6.4.9. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts would execute when a user accesses the compromised page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
