Apple Wi-Fi Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

A use-after-free vulnerability in the Wi-Fi component of Apple operating systems was addressed with improved memory management. This issue allows an attacker in a privileged network position to perform a denial-of-service attack by sending crafted Wi-Fi packets. The vulnerability is present in iOS 18.7.9, iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing unexpected system termination or process crashes.
