Apple Products 802.1X Authentication Vulnerability Allowing Network Traffic Interception

Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the 802.1X authentication process was identified, which could allow an attacker in a privileged network position to intercept network traffic. This issue was addressed with improved state management and affects multiple Apple operating systems, including iOS 18.7.7, iPadOS 18.7.7, macOS Sequoia 15.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.8.5, tvOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and watchOS 26.4.
