A moderate integer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the SIXEL decoder of ImageMagick versions prior to 7.1.2-16. This vulnerability allows attackers to perform out-of-bounds writes by exploiting specially crafted images.
Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to out-of-bounds writes, which can commonly result in memory corruption or arbitrary code execution.
Users can upgrade to ImageMagick version 7.1.2-16 or later to address this vulnerability.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
