Adobe FrameMaker Out-of-Bounds Read Vulnerability Allowing Arbitrary Code Execution

Vulnerability

A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read has been identified in Adobe FrameMaker versions 2022.8 and earlier. This issue arises when the application parses a crafted file, leading to a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a malicious file.

Remediation
