A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe InDesign Desktop versions 20.5.2, 21.2 and earlier. This vulnerability could lead to memory exposure, allowing an attacker to disclose sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information from memory.
Users can update to Adobe InDesign version 21.3 or 20.5.3. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create deployment packages.
