Skygroup Reebox WordPress Theme Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Skygroup Reebox WordPress theme, affecting versions prior to 1.4.8. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts that are executed when users visit the affected site.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the Reebox WordPress theme to version 1.4.8 or later. Patchstack has also issued a mitigation rule to block attacks until the update is applied.
