TP2WP Importer Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the TP2WP Importer plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.1. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'Watched domains' textarea on the attachment importer settings page. When domains are saved via AJAX, they are rendered with echo implode() without proper escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Administrator-level access to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts execute when a user accesses the attachment importer settings page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the attachment importer settings page.
