A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Reward Video Ad for WordPress plugin, affecting all versions through 1.6. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings, particularly in the 'Account ID', 'Message before the video', and color fields. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Administrator-level access to inject arbitrary scripts that are executed when users access the affected pages.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Administrator privileges can navigate to the plugin's admin settings. Once there, they can inject a script into one of the vulnerable fields, such as the 'Account ID' or 'Message before the video'. After saving the changes, the injected script will be executed when the corresponding page is accessed.

Remediation
