Frappe Learning Management System Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) versions through 2.44.0. This issue allows for the execution of malicious JavaScript by uploading a specially crafted image filename, which is then executed when the image is rendered on course or job pages.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Frappe LMS version 2.45.0 or later to address this vulnerability.
