OPEXUS eCASE Audit Document Check Out Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in OPEXUS eCASE Audit. This issue allows an authenticated attacker to inject JavaScript into comments within the Document Check Out feature. The injected JavaScript is executed when another user views the Action History Log. This vulnerability affects OPEXUS eCASE Audit versions 11.4.0 prior to 11.14.1.0.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the Action History Log.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to OPEXUS eCASE Platform version 11.14.1.0 to address this vulnerability.
