Joomla! CMS Output Escaping Vulnerability Leading to Cross-Site Scripting

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Joomla! CMS versions 4.0.0 prior to 5.4.3 and 6.0.0 prior to 6.0.3. The issue arises from a lack of output escaping for article titles, which creates XSS vectors in various locations throughout the application.

Remediation

Users are advised to upgrade to Joomla! CMS version 5.4.4 or 6.0.4.
