Adobe Illustrator Untrusted Search Path Vulnerability Allowing Arbitrary Code Execution

Vulnerability

A vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Illustrator versions 29.8.4, 30.1 and earlier, related to an untrusted search path. This vulnerability could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution on the affected system.

Remediation
