A vulnerability allowing access of memory location after the end of the buffer has been identified in Adobe Audition versions through 25.3. This vulnerability could lead to an application denial-of-service, causing the application to crash or become unresponsive. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.

Remediation

Users are advised to update to Adobe Audition version 25.6 or 26.0, available through the Adobe Download Center. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Admin Console to deploy Creative Cloud applications to end users.
