Adobe InDesign Out-of-Bounds Read Vulnerability Allowing Memory Exposure

A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds read has been identified in Adobe InDesign Desktop versions 21.0, 19.5.5 and earlier. This vulnerability could lead to memory exposure, allowing an attacker to access sensitive information stored in memory. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.

Remediation

Users are advised to update to Adobe InDesign versions 21.1 or 20.5.1. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create deployment packages.
