Samsung Secure Folder Improper Component Export Vulnerability Allowing Privilege Escalation
Vulnerability
A vulnerability exists in Samsung Secure Folder on Android versions 14, 15, and 16, prior to the March 2026 Security Maintenance Release. This vulnerability allows local attackers to launch arbitrary activities with Secure Folder privileges, due to improper export of application components.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to Secure Folder privileges, allowing local attackers to manipulate activities within Secure Folder.
Remediation
Users can update to the March 2026 Security Maintenance Release to address this vulnerability.
