Samsung Mobile Emergency Sharing Improper Access Control Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the Emergency Sharing feature of Samsung Mobile devices running Android versions 14, 15, and 16, prior to the February 2026 Security Maintenance Release. This vulnerability allows local attackers to disrupt the normal functioning of Emergency Sharing by exploiting improper access control.

Exploitation of this vulnerability can interfere with the Emergency Sharing functionality, potentially disrupting critical communication in emergency situations.

Remediation
