Intel Vision Software Improper Access Control Vulnerability Allowing Denial-of-Service and Potential Remote Code Execution

Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Intel Vision software, all versions, within Ring 3: User Applications, allows improper access control that could lead to a denial-of-service. An unprivileged software adversary, with an unauthenticated user, could execute a low-complexity attack enabling remote code execution. This vulnerability may be exploited via network access, without special internal knowledge, and requires no user interaction.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a denial-of-service condition. According to Intel, this vulnerability could also allow remote code execution.

Remediation

Intel has issued a Product Discontinuation Notice for Intel Vision software as of January 2026. Users are advised to uninstall the software or discontinue use as soon as possible.
