Intel QAT Software Drivers for Windows Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A divide-by-zero vulnerability has been identified in some Intel QAT software drivers for Windows, prior to version 1.13, within Ring 3: User Applications. This vulnerability may allow an unprivileged software adversary, with an authenticated user, to cause a denial-of-service condition. The issue can potentially be exploited through local access, without special internal knowledge, and requires no user interaction. The vulnerability impacts the availability of the affected system, leading to a high severity denial-of-service condition.

Remediation
