Apple iOS and iPadOS Screenshots Vulnerability Allowing Access to Deleted Notes

A logic vulnerability in the handling of screenshots was identified, potentially allowing an attacker with physical access to a locked device to recover deleted notes. This issue affects Apple iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, iOS 18.7.5, and iPadOS 18.7.5.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to a user's deleted notes.

Remediation

Users can update to iOS 26.3 or iPadOS 26.3. For devices running iOS 18.7.5 or iPadOS 18.7.5, an update is also available to address this vulnerability.
