A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in SourceCodester Medical Center Portal Management System version 1.0. The issue resides in the login.php file, where the 'user' parameter is not properly validated, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL queries. Reproduction

The vulnerability can be reproduced by sending a POST request to '/medic/pages/processlogin.php' with an injected SQL payload in the 'user' parameter. The application does not require authentication to access the login page.

It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
