A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the web-based management interface of Cisco Packaged Contact Center Enterprise (Packaged CCE) and Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (Unified CCE). This vulnerability allows an authenticated, remote attacker to inject malicious code into specific pages of the interface. The exploitation of this vulnerability could enable the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive browser-based information. The vulnerability arises from improper validation of user-supplied input, and to exploit it, an attacker must have valid administrative credentials.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject and execute malicious scripts in the context of the user's session.
