FloristPress for Woo Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the FloristPress for Woo plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 7.8.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of the 'noresults' parameter. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which could be executed if the attacker successfully convinces a user to click a link.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to a page that uses the FloristPress for Woo plugin, including the 'noresults' parameter with unsanitized data. The injected script will execute if the user is tricked into clicking the link.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the FloristPress for Woo plugin to version 7.8.3 or later.
