A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the All-in-One Video Gallery plugin for WordPress, affecting versions through 4.7.1. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'vi' parameter. These scripts could be executed if a user is tricked into clicking a link.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to a page that uses the All-in-One Video Gallery plugin, including the 'vi' parameter with the injected script. If successful, the script will execute in the user's browser.
Users are advised to update the All-in-One Video Gallery plugin to version 4.7.5 or later.
