PcVue Web Services and Applications HTTP Security Headers Misconfiguration Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in multiple versions of PcVue web services and applications due to some HTTP security headers not being properly configured in responses sent to the client. This misconfiguration can potentially expose the application to various security risks by failing to enforce appropriate security measures through HTTP headers.

Impact

The improper configuration of HTTP security headers can lead to various security vulnerabilities, such as allowing cross-site scripting, clickjacking, or other attacks that could be mitigated by proper header management.

Remediation

Users can update to PcVue version 16.3.4 to address this vulnerability. For PcVue 15 users, version 15.2.14 is recommended.
