Youzify WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Youzify plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 1.3.6. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when users access the compromised pages.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users can update to Youzify version 1.3.7 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
