Avada Builder Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Avada (Fusion) Builder plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 3.15.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts execute when an administrator views a page with dynamic user data, such as biographical information.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users can update to Avada (Fusion) Builder version 3.15.3 or later to address this vulnerability.
