WooCommerce Order Minimum/Maximum Amount Limits Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Order Minimum/Maximum Amount Limits for WooCommerce plugin, affecting all versions up to and including 4.6.8. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Shop Manager-level permissions or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts would execute when a user accesses the affected page. This issue is present in WordPress multi-site installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
Reproduction
To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Shop Manager-level permissions or higher can inject scripts into the plugin's settings. Once the scripts are saved, they will be executed when the corresponding page is accessed.
Remediation
Users are advised to update the Order Minimum/Maximum Amount for WooCommerce plugin to version 4.6.9 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
