Robin Image Optimizer Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Robin Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress, specifically in versions through 2.0.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into the 'Alternative Text' field of Media Library images. These injected scripts are executed when a user accesses the affected page.

Remediation
